Firm’s Experience: Topographic Survey and Mapping

Topographical surveys and maps are the basic requirement at the initial stages of infrastructure development for evaluating all particular problem areas of engineering.

Our firm is equipped with modern technology based equipment to assist us in successfully handling the demands of carrying out Topographical Surveys and mapping in hostile terrain of the Himalayas as per the specific demands of our customers.

Our firm has rich industry experience in successfully carrying out topographic survey services for preparation of PFS and DPRs for hydropower development, infrastructure development, in preparation of mines and quarry development.

I.           Topographical Survey and Mapping of Trashigang and Rangjung Thromdes.

The salient features of the projects are:

  1. Establishment of geodetic control network using GNSS/GPS in static and RTK mode.
  2. Large scale topographic survey and mapping of 1.54 Sq.km at scale 1:1000 and 1 m contour interval.
  3. Duration: 6 months (October 2016 -March 2017)
  4. Client: Department of Human Settlement, MoWHS, Thimphu
II.         Topographical Survey and Mapping of Gyalposhing Town, Monggar.

The main project components are:

  1. Densification and establishment of control network using GNSS/GPS in static post-processing and RTK mode.
  2. Topographic survey of 1.54 Sq.km at scale 1:1000 and 1 m contour interval.
  3. Duration: 1 month (January 2015)

  4. Client: Department of Human Settlement, MoWHS, Thimphu

III.        Topographical Survey and Mapping of Nganglam Proposed Regional Hub, Pemagatshel.
  1. Densification and establishment of control network using GNSS/GPS in static post-processing and RTK mode.
  2. Topographic survey of 5.2 Sq.Km at scale 1:1000 and 1 m contour interval.
  3. Mapping and output in AutoCAD format.

  4. Client: Department of Human Settlement, MoWHS, Thimphu

IV.        Topographical Survey, Mapping of Kurichhu Hydropower Plant Augmentation    Project, Gyalpozhing, Monggar.

Some of the major activities executed for the project are:

  1. Establishment of control and densification using GNSS/GPS.
  2. Surveying and Mapping at scale 1:1000 with 1 m contour interval using Total Station.
  3. Client: Druk Green Power Corporation, Thimphu.
V.             Topographical survey at Chipchipokto and Thomendra, Nikachhu HPP, Trongsa.

Some of the major activities executed for the project are:

  1. Establishment of control and densification using GNSS/GPS.
  2. Surveying and Mapping at scale 1:1000 with 1 m contour interval using Total Station.
  3. Client: Druk Green Power Corporation, Thimphu.
VI.        Topographical survey of 200 acres at Banglapokto, Trongsa for DGPC for Nikachhu HPP Dam site alternative 2.

Some of the major activities executed for the project are:

  1. Establishment of control and densification using GNSS/GPS.
  2. Surveying and Mapping at scale 1:1000 with 1 m contour interval using Total Station.
  3. Client: Druk Green Power Corporation, Thimphu.
VII.       Proposed golf course site survey at Shingkhar, Bumthang.

Some of the major activities executed for the project are:

  1. Establishment of control and densification.
  2. Surveying and Mapping at scale 1:500 with 0.5 m contour interval using Total Station.
  3. Area Surveyed and Mapped: 222 Acres

Client:  Nob Minerals.  Completed and delivered.
